Five Hot Air Balloons In One Cave!
Only in America would one think to do it, but in 1988, they did in
fact blow up five hot air balloons and flew them around the
main part of this famous cave.
Ironically enough, this natural marvel is part of the Silver Dollar
Amusement Park and your entrance to the park is what gets
you access to the tour.
Apparently a man from New York brought his two daughters to
the Ozarks in the late 1800's, bought the cave and when the
girls complained about being in the sticks, he'd just leave them
in the heat and go live in the cave - he actually built a cabin
down in the labyrinth of tunnels under the earth which we saw.
It was quite amazing.

arch in the line. Then the lady gives you the third degree
making sure you can hack it down there...

Within this cave is a waterfall. You can see the neat
formations which have been created by the deposits in
the water.

Clearing Out
This cog train took us out of the cave after going down
sevral stories into the earth.
