It Really Remains a Sight To Behold!

It took two elevators to get to the very top and we managed to
make the journey on a particularly cold and windy Spring
evening, but it was well worth it.

The Eiffel Tower is now lit beautifully from within (has been for a
while) but starting at 9:00 P.M., every hour, on the hour it
"twinkles" with thousands of flashing lights for 10 minutes - it's
truly spectacular.
Almost The Same Shot, Just At Night
The Eiffel Tower is truly mesmerizing, especially at night
and from interesting angles.
Long, Cold Ticket Line
We waited in line for about an hour to get tickets. Level
three was closed, but they reopened it just as we got to
the counter to pay. Bonne Chance!
The Park Leading To The Military College
From this view you can see where we hung
out earlier in the day, lounging on the grass.
Les Invalids
In this shot you can see where Napoleon is buried - at Les
Invalids - the very well lit building on the right. On the left
are some of the famous bridges over the Seine.
The Arc de Triomphe is on the left with the Seine in front
The Arc de Triomphe
A typical street
It took us 20 minutes to find an ice cream
store less than 30 yards away - it was a fun
confusing place.
