It's All Beautiful
The National Gardens were close to our hotel and right across

simply wonderful even though we were there toward the end of
the season. We got a kick out of the ancient stadium and took
the subway out to the new stadium - which was very
impressive.
A tree to climb!
Brent can't help himself - and who could blame him? This
one was fun.
Fountain in the gardens
Wish we could remember what was written on it - but alas,
we were pooped by the time we enjoyed sitting near it.
New Olympic Stadium
We didn't get very far into the complex, but we
did find this spectacular.
Can you read Greek?
We can't either, but this building in the National Gardens
was very pretty and we never did figure out what it was.
Ancient Olympic Stadium At Night
Ancient Olympic Stadium
...however Kate begged him to re-think it, as now there is
a guard posted to keep people from doing just that.
It was SO tempting...
Brent recalled making a lap in the beautiful
stadium when he was here in 1989...
The marble gleamed
And not just in the sun light - we couldn't decide which
we preferred the stadium at day or night.
