Taking To The Beach Like A Fish To Water
For the first time in his three years Sawyer got to play on a
beach. Rather unsurprisingly, he absolutely loved it. How can
you pass up the joy of so many mediums? Sand, water and the
waves.
Our little Southern California boy, whose grandparents are also
from South Africa, took to the surf and sand like it was in his
blood.
Mommy didn't think we would be playing in the surf given the
fact that it was January, but wow was she wrong. Sawyer had
no fear of the waves and we looked around and he was all the
way in the water to his chest. We had to pull him back a bit. He
must have run back and forth to his sand castle from the water
two dozen times at least.
Even when the sun went down and it got cold he was
completely undaunted - he just didn't want to leave. We are
looking to see when we can go back to the sand.
