We're Going Granola
Well, we did see a lot of people that one would not find in
Dallas, but we must admit, Portland had lots of charm and boy
oh boy did it have great weather while we were there.
Once again our "Good Weather Karma" held up and we were
able to see not only Oregon, but even a bit of Washington in all
the glory of spring.
The flowers and their colors were hardly to be believed they
were so intense. Brent even commented that they looked like
they'd been "plugged in" after a long winter.
This city with a conscience really turned on the charm!
Portland, Oregon
Yet another one of those unsung wonderful cities we've
discovered across the U.S.A.
Spring Has Sprung
Everywhere we went we saw flowers - all
more spectacular than the last.
The Draw Bridge
The center section of road just rises on these towers
rather than splitting down the middle. It's the highest of its
kind in the U.S.
What Would A Town Be Without A Great Fountain
We were only sorry we were there so early in the morning -
we're sure this must be a great little-person hang-out.
Portland Airport
Well, it was a fun, if quick, trip but we couldn't complain
about leaving out of such a pretty little airport.
That's The End
Brent seems to love those entrances...and of course the
exits.
