A Texas Rangers Game Without Sweating Bullets?
Yes, it is possible, but one has to go on a beautiful evening in April
to do it! We had a wonderful time at the game and even got to hang
out with the mascot - a very spirited horse. Our seats were
fantastic - we watched no fewer than 10 fly balls sail over or right by
us!
Only at a Rangers Game do they not only sing, but give you the
words to "Deep in the Heart of Texas" on the scoreboard.
Go Rangers! (They lost to the Toronto Blue Jays 2-1. Sigh...)
A Texas Tradition.
You can't have a public affair without singing "Deep in the
Heart of Texas," even though it isn't the official state song
- it's just so darn fun to sing - as evidenced by this verse.
Well, "Sake it Up Baby, now. Twist and
Shout!"
The 7th Inning Stretch
The scoreboard helps us with the words to
"Take Me Out to the Ball Game."
Our seats are amazing!
Batter up Baby!
Hidalgo gets on base!
