Football Season Is Here!

This week the rain finally stopped and so we were off to the
park!  Sawyer just loved not only sliding down the slide, but
walking up it as well (with a little help from Dad he was
pretty successful - and very pleased with himself.)  Though
his Tony Romo onesie didn't bring the Cowboys much luck
this week with their first game in their brand new stadium,
he did insist on staying up until opening kickoff (he's usually
in bed by then!)  Maybe they lost because by the time the
game started he was in jammies...

We also had our second "picture day" at school and we
dressed him in an outfit that was so short it looked like he
was wearing lederhosen - considering our recent trip to
Munich we decided it fit.

The first for this week was the fact that he tried to feed
Jackson at Mom's work - well, he didn't exactly let Jackson
eat his food - this is Sawyer after all!

Sawyer now turns the pages of his books at story time with
both Mom and Dad and will sit for at least one book before
slithering down to go and play with Pippin!

Week Forty Nine
"OK, Here I Come."
It's More Fun To Do It This Way - Greater
Challenge
Why does it not surprise any of us that Sawyer
likes to try to challenge himself?
Thanks Dad!
Sawyer has never stopped loving the swing
and it's the best when Dad pushes him really
high!
The Cowboys Family?
Being part of the Cowboys fans is like the proverbial
tractor beam - it pulls you in!  So Kate has relented and is
allowing the boy to be brought up in the Dallas doctrine.
Sigh...
"Pals"
Starting Him Early
Though his little legs were too short to get him from one
stop to the other that didn't stop Sawyer from trying - he
really got the concept, it's just that his little body isn't quite
there yet - thanks do Dad, he was able to succeed anyway.
Weeeeeeeeeee!!!!!
Hans Strikes A Pose
We struggled to get a photo of him in his little
outfit because he was super hungry and
ready to be taken to school - he was more
interested in puffs than the camera!
Future Quarterback?
So far he's still very much into soccer - rather than football,
but who knows what he'll end up liking.
Please Auntie Donita, I Wanna Help!
Sawyer is absolutely enamoured with
Donita's keyboard at Mom's work.  Thankfully
Donita is very patient with this "help!"
Here Uncle Jackson, You Try Some
Sawyer actually shared his lunch with
Jackson at Mom's work.
This Place Is Cool!
Sawyer finds great excitement in the pantry at
home - and helps Mom put away the water
jug (that he'd taken out by the way...)
Climbing Up And Up
Not sure what he'll be like with trees (his dad
is a great tree-climber) but he certainly loves
climbing up the slide.
Helping Dad With The TV Controls
Yes, he's a Sheffield...it's electronic.
Eating Real Carrots And Corn!
At least he did that evening.  Mom got very
excited when it seemed like Sawyer was
going to start eating veggies - carrots, corn
and even cauliflower - it didn't last.  Fleeting
moment...

Dang, I'm Cute!
Sawyer has colorful bath toys but seems to
prefer random Tupperware and bottles of
soap to even his turtle.
