Putting Those Words Together
This week Sawyer's language development really seemed
to take off. He's putting phrases and sentences together,
wowing us every day. He does the same at school in that he
was able to call everyone of his new classmates by name
within two days of getting into class and he loves to tell us
all about Drew, Peyton, Gabriel, Andy and Austin.
Sawyer loves to "drive" so the grocery store is great fun
because of the "car" grocery cart. Dad and Sawyer tootled
around the store while Mom did the real shopping. That way
there wasn't any waiting for our little impatient man (who
always wants to be on the move.)
Besides that we had a wonderful game of "run around
naked!!!" Brent and Sawyer laughed and giggled for almost
an hour and we were lucky there were no accidents - wahoo!
Sawyer loves his trucks, bus, puzzles and books. If you give
him an opportunity he'll show you them all and particularly
loves "reading" - after a while we start to realize that he's
telling us the story as he sees it.
We love our imaginative little boy.
