Hot!
The weather has been in triple digits all week - so it makes
for a pretty uneventful weekend because we spent most of
our time inside trying to hide from the heat.
Obviously it's also been incredibly bright, so Sawyer
enjoyed wearing his dad's glasses - so much so we finally
got him a pair of his own (green with the character Diego) -
only time will tell whether or not he'll actually wear those.
Last weekend, Sawyer was pursuing Pippin whom we
suspect nipped Sawyer on the toe. Sawyer has certainly not
forgotten and seems to recount the story every day - Sawyer
was completely unharmed.
Sawyer refers to any type of vacuum cleaner as "Noise!
Noise!" That goes for the hand vac, the shop vac, the leaf
vac and of course the Dyson. He LOVES playing with Daddy
and the vacuum (oh, Mommy has the hair dryer that is also
a "Noise!")
Sawyer currently has a bit of a fetish with his blankie -
started last week - pretty close to getting off his pacifier.
He's not terribly picky which blankie (thankfully) but he does
like to make sure that the one at school comes home every
night - which means it gets washed - because he tends to
drag it on the ground in the parking lot when he carries it.
