Family

Thanksgiving Week Was Busy
Family arrived on Saturday, Sawyer had his flu shot on
Monday and then promptly started running a fever on
Tuesday. By Wednesday night, when he ran a fever of
104.8 we put him into the bathtub with Kate to cool him
down. The entire week he hardly felt like himself and even
refused to eat for 4 days! (Yes, our little man, refused to
eat!) We were lucky, however because he remained thirsty
and able to drink milk, so we didn't feel we had anything to
worry about.
Though he wasn't feeling well most of the week, we did
have some fun along the way. We tried to take him to have
his photo taken with Santa at the Gaylord Texan, but he was
still feeling pretty low and not interested in seeing the "big
guy" so we ended up leaving.
Besides that he got some great quality time with both his
Grandma and Graddad (Sheffield) as well as his cousins
Anthony and CJ and we even had Kate's mom's cousin's
daughter (can you keep that one straight?)
Thanksgiving Day, despite the very little sleep we had the
night before was simply wonderful - with 18 for dinner - how
could it not be?
So much to be thankful for.
