Soccer, Play Date, Bounce House, Skating, Some Special
Days At School And Basic Family Fun
This week started with a challenging soccer match when
Sawyer was having difficulty being a big kid who has lots of
enthusiasm. Dad's well warranted redirection as not well
received but Sawyer's pal Peyton helped him out. After that
Sawyer enjoyed a wonderful play date with Peyton and Drew,
his other great pal from Primrose (his former preschool.)
While waiting for Dad to finish up at work, Mommy and
Sawyer went to the local bounce house for a little extra
energy time. We expended some more of it this week while
Kate took Sawyer skating both mid week as well as over the
weekend and then of course Daddy and Sawyer played a
whole host of sports at home. Right now baseball seems to
be figuring high - probably because it is baseball season
and Ranger fever is running high right about now.
At school this week it was a bit of a summer camp style
where every day was something special - hat day, pajama
day, stuffed animal day, etc. You can see the pics below for
fun.
Hat day was particularly special because Sawyer wore the
Springbok baseball cap he received from his great Uncle Pat
to whom we send post cards and other things of that nature
to keep in touch. Pie and Papa brought it back with them
from their last trip with strict instructions that Sawyer was to
send it back if he stopped sending the postcards! He was
the only grandchild to receive a gift.
We love this pajama day photo because Corell is Sawyer's
best friend at Creme and whenever they see each other there
is same enthusiasm that Sawyer and Peyton (from
Primrose) have for one another. Sawyer is a very loving boy.
