New Hockey Jersey, Changing To The Big Boy Bed, The
"Lego Gym," Water Park In Peyton's Neighborhood, Spring
Pageant
Wow did we have a lot going on this week. Over the
weekend we went skating with Mommy both Saturday and
Sunday and we showed off our new Canadian Hab's jersey
from "Auntie Suzan" - a colleague of Brent's.
On Sunday night we changed Sawyer's bed again, this time
into the, final, full-sized version of it. He and Dad had lots of
fun putting it together, but it did take an awfully long time and
resulted in the little guy getting to bed later than usual.
Moreover, the poor kid still had to sleep on his old mattress
as the full sized one wasn't delivered until the next day. That
said, when he got his new mattress he was VERY pleased -
see the photos.
On Sunday we also got to go swimming at our friend
Peyton's water park - or at least the water park in his
subdivision. We have been there several times before and it
never disappoints.
During the week we went with Mommy to her training
session and discovered that the gym has a box full of large
Legos - now dubbed the "Lego Place," Sawyer is wanting to
go with Mommy every time. He was amazingly good while
Stephen, the trainer, put her through the paces, and he
cheered her on to great health.
Finally we had the Spring Pageant at school. Creme de la
Creme doesn't do a Christmas show, but chooses to do it in
the Spring instead - and it's during the day. Sawyer was
again the most animated in the room - drawing lots of laughs
and "Awwww," with the wiggling of his bottom and his
enthusiastic and exaggerated gestures. He was just a
delight to watch and we laughed until we cried and our sides
hurt.
